Relevant Work Experience

  • Responsible for Rockwell Automation Product Sales of PLC, SCADA HMI, VFD, Motion, Drives, Safety products etc..
  • Expertise in Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Process Business Drivers.
  • High level knowledge in industrial automation sales.
  • Have handled industries like, Tyre, Auto & Auto components, Geo, CPG, EPC, Diary etc...and Segment OEMs, End users, SI
  • Have covered the geographies of Karnataka.
  • Good knowledge in Control Systems, Industrial Control Components, Industrial Control Panels, Information Software, Motor Control Device, Sensing Device , Security Networks Technology Safety , Visualization & HMI products.

Must Have Skills

  • Strong Communication / Presentation Skills
  • Good knowledge in industrial market
  • Customers rapport & Pre sales / Team co-ordination
  • Verbal communication in Local language / Analysis of market strategy
  • High level of expertise and knowledge in Sales Fundamentals (Listening, Analytical, Problem Solving, Lead Qualifying, Negotiating, Persevering, Closing), Project Sales, CRM
  • Should have handled a team of 5 to 10 Engineers
  • Should have handled business volume of 25 Crores per annum

Good to Have Skills

  • MS Office, Additional computer Skills, SAP knowledge added advantage.


Job Description

  • Enable sales of products in the respective geographies and achieve the targeted Phoenix sales plan.
  • Understand industry requirements based on market requirements, customer requirements, generate proposals and convert them into sale orders.
  • Develop with marketing strategic Sales plans to generate business with both new and existing accounts.
  • Identify and develop profiles of potential new accounts and create opportunities with both existing clients and new prospects.
  • Identify and develop strategic competitor analysis and plans to counter competitors activities with targeted accounts.
  • Plan and Execute Complementary and cross sell product Lines.
  • Monitor overall sales development success and track and report on progress against plan.
  • Follow and coordinate with order fulfilment and finance team for successful sales target.
  • Develop and conduct potential and existing customer presentations to attract new business.
  • Work with the regional Sales force on developing opportunities and provide support as needed.
  • Work with marketing to develop sales tools, support trade shows, and identify new solution and product opportunities.
  • Coaching and Development of Sales Engineers
